Panel Upgrades
A panel upgrade replaces the breaker box that distributes power through your home — most often moving from 100 amps to a 200-amp panel, the modern standard for most Queens homes. We start with a load calculation on what you actually run today and what you plan to add, then pull the DOB permit before any work begins. On the day itself the service is disconnected, the old panel and its feeders come out, the new enclosure and grounding are set, and every branch circuit is re-landed and labeled so the directory is readable years from now. Where the utility side has to change too, we coordinate with Con Edison and stage the work around their schedule.
